Title: Car died on Al Khail and I had no idea who to call
Post by: primitivoconner on Oct 12, 2026, 05:40 AM
Complete nightmare yesterday. Car just cut out while I was driving near Za'abeel Second, wouldn't restart, and I sat there for twenty minutes trying to figure out what to do. Didn't have a recovery service saved, didn't know anyone with a truck, and the heat was not helping my mood. Eventually found a number for an affordable towing service for cars near Za'abeel Second (https://batteryzoneuae.com/car-towing-service-dubai/), and they actually showed up in about thirty five minutes, which felt reasonable given where I was. Cost less than I expected too. But the whole experience made me realise I should have this stuff sorted before something goes wrong, not while I'm stranded on the side of the road. Anyone else had a breakdown and realised they had no plan? What do you keep saved for situations like this?
